Prince Harry was renowned for his fondness of pranking many of his relatives, including his beloved grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.
Prince Harry Played Numerous Practical Jokes On Queen Elizabeth II
It was well known that the two of them shared a close relationship and there have been numerous tales shared about Harry’s inclination to amuse the monarch by playing practical jokes.
Reports vary from the story of the prince purchasing a shower cap for his grandmother, which featured the phrase, “Ain’t life a b****,” to the tale of the faked poo designed to incriminate the corgis, but one other amusing narrative stands out above the rest.
Paul Burrell, who formerly worked for the royal Family as a butler, informed OK! Magazine that during tea time, Harry would sometimes place plastic flies in the Queen’s sugar bowl, which caused her to be in utter disbelief.
In his comments, he said: “I know the Queen very well and I know she’s very fond of Harry. As William would sit and have tea with her after school, Harry would come and put plastic flies in the sugar bowl.
“It was hilarious. Harry was the only one who could trick his granny.” The late Queen purportedly also requested her grandkids for aid when it came to operating her first cell phone.
She purportedly possessed a confidential anti-hacker encrypted phone and utilised it to communicate with only two individuals. In spite of this, Harry didn’t refrain from playing a joke on his grandmother.
Reportedly, he recorded a vulgar voicemail while she was away. The amusing tale was shared by author Bryan Kozlowski in his book ‘Long Live the Queen! 13 Rules for Living from Britain’s Longest Reigning Monarch’.
In his book, he wrote: “Prankster Prince Harry reportedly used the opportunity to record the following voice mail message on his grandmother’s cell: ‘Hey, wassup? This is Liz!
“Sorry I’m away from the throne. For a hotline to Philip, press one; for Charles, press two; for the corgis, press three.'”
