Prince Harry Promotes His Life Coaching App-‘It Was A Dream Come True’
In March 2021, Harry was employed by a start-up company, BetterUp, based in San Francisco as their Chief Impact Officer. He recently engaged in a live conversation with BetterUp’s CEO, Alexi Robichaux, which was broadcasted online.
The event saw the Duke of Sussex dressed in a combination of smart and casual attire. He chose to wear a gray shirt with long sleeves and a navy sports jacket over it. He completed the look with dark blue jeans.
During the conversation, Harry expressed his admiration for BetterUp and informed Alexis that he had provided its services to all employees at his company, Archewell.
He said: “I’ve seen first hand what coaching can do. For me, personally, I get so much out of helping other people. It’s what gets me out of bed every morning…It was a dream come true to be able to work with you.”
Those comments are understandable in light of the following. First of all, Harry has been very vocal about his struggles with mental health in his memoir, Spare.
During the course of that process, he discussed how he dealt with his mother, Princess Diana’s death. This included driving through the tunnel where his mother died.
Secondly, Harry has spoken on how he wants to avoid passing on any trauma that he had to his kids. And yet, the social media response was damning.
People began to speak out against the event’s costs, as the comments towards the Duke of Sussex were brutal indeed. One person wrote: “What does the dumb prince bring to the table besides arrogance?”
Clearly, the Duke needs to rebrand. And there is no getting away from that. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
