Former NBA star Lamar Odom has opened up on how he still longs for his ex-wife Khloe Kardashian.

The duo had decided to get married in 2009, which was a shock at the time by virtue of the fact that they had only been dating for around one-month. Naturally, it is not surprising to hear that they did begin to go through some very serious issues.
This was none other than Lamar’s substance abuse issues, which resulted in him almost dying as a result of an overdose. Although he managed to overcome this, the very fact of the matter is that he was devastated at the thought that his marriage had ended in 2016.
And that is something that has lived with him to this day. During an episode of ‘Celebrity Big Brother,’ Lamar said: “When you take a vow under the Lord’s eye, you expect to honor that vow, which I didn’t.
“It kind of haunts me now that I didn’t. Sometimes when I get the opportunity to talk about it, it’s like therapy.” Nevertheless, Khloe has not exactly had successful relationships in the aftermath of her split from Lamar.
After all, her decision to get together with Tristan Thompson backfired massively especially since the latter had been unfaithful to her.
Not only that, but Tristan was recently declared as a father to Maralee Nichols’ child, the timeline of events suggested that he may have been cheating on Khloe during this time.
And yet, Lamar still feels that he has some making up to do for his actions during their marriage. He added: “I do miss her and her family dearly.
“Even just to the family, I’m sorry I let them down. They had so much faith in me and gave me my own nickname, Lammy. I would do anything to make it up.”
In reality, Lamar Odom has had his chance with Khloe Kardashian. If he had really cared about the Kardashian, then he would not have made the decision to go and cheat on her. That is why Lamar has nobody else to blame but himself for his actions.
