The condition occurs when blood vessels harden thus complicating the flow of blood to organs and tissue. According to TMZ, neighbors called for a wellness check for Morgan Stevens after the 70-year-old hadn’t been seen for several days. Police would find Stevens dead in his kitchen on January 26.

Stevens made his television debut in season two, episode fifty of The Mod Squad in an uncredited role. He followed this up with a number one-off or guest star appearances on TV shows and made-for-television movies through the decade.
His first role as a regular cast member was on the short-lived and poorly received NBC primetime soap Bare Essence in 1983. Stevens was on for the last four episodes while also doing a bigger role as David Reardon on the acclaimed series Fame.

While Stevens continued to regularly appear on major television shows throughout the 1980s, very few of his roles were as a regular cast member. His career was put on pause in 1989 as a result of a DUI arrest which would escalate into police brutality while in custody. Following an out-of-court settlement by the LAPD, Morgan Stevens returned to the small screen in 1992.
The television veteran would land his biggest, most memorable role as lawyer Nick Diamond on the popular 90s prime time soap Melrose Place. Although it was in a supporting role, it was a part of a larger, ongoing storyline between Amanda Woodward (Heather Locklear) and Jack Parezi (Antonio Sabato Jr). Morgan Stevens last appeared on television in a one-off role in season six of Walker, Texas Ranger in early 1999.
