Moreover, Nicholl claims that the return of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will “soften” their apparent rift with the royal family. She further maintained that having the couple “back in the fold, in whatever capacity, even just for the attendance, would be really positive for the royals, not only for the image, but for the family itself.”
Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle have not set a foot in the United Kingdom since early 2020 when they abandoned their royal duties for life in the United States.
Although the couple publicly tendered their resignation before moving to the United States, many royal fans believe that the couple made their decision out of emotions without considering side impacts. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expected to return to the United Kingdom in early June for the platinum jubilee celebration of Queen Elizabeth after she reportedly extended an invitation to them.
