It is no secret that Lamar has spoken about the regret that he has had over the manner in which his marriage to Khloe ended in 2016.
Their relationship had been clouded by Lamar’s infidelity, coupled with the fact that he had taken an overdose which could have taken his life.
But ever since that moment, Lamar has stressed how he wanted to make things up for the damage that he had caused. And it looks as though this has gone down very well with Khloe.
A source told Us Weekly the following: “Khloé thinks it’s actually great that Lamar went on because it’s more an opportunity than anything else. It’s income for him and something new and exciting.”
That is not to say that Khloe is interested in trying to get back with Lamar. And the same can be said of the former NBA star. It seems that this move to appear on a reality TV show was designed to increase his public profile.
That way, it has shown Khloe as well as others that Lamar is ready to move on with his life. The source added: “[He] didn’t go on the show with the intention of it being a platform to talk about Khloé again.
“[It is an] opportunity for him to get paid [and] to be back in the spotlight and to grow his fan base.” And in terms of growing his fanbase, Lamar certainly left an impression with them albeit for the wrong reasons.
During the course of an episode of ‘Celebrity Big Brother,’ Lamar had the audacity to admit that he had defected in his bed.
It was clearly not one of his proudest moments, but the reaction on social media was one of laughter which suggested that he did cause some entertainment.
Hopefully, going forward, Lamar can use this show as a springboard to put his demons behind him and look forward to the future. We will have to see how this will all play all going forward.
