Actor Jerry O’Connell has downplayed the chances of Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian having a reconciliation following the conclusion of ‘Celebrity Big Brother.’

Lamar, for his part, has made no secret that he wants to meet up with Khloe as a way to make up for the mistakes that he had made during their marriage. He did, after all, cheat on her, as well as take an overdose that nearly killed him.
While the chances of getting back together are extremely unlikely, Lamar felt that a meeting could be still possible. And yet, for Jerry, he dismissed the idea in the most brutal of fashion.
In a statement, he said: “I think he has a better chance at winning Big Brother than [reconciling with Khloé], according to social media. I would like to see Lamar win it, but that is a real long shot at this point.”
Despite what you think about Jerry’s comments, they do have some substance for the following reasons. First of all, Khloe has just distanced herself from her ex Tristan Thompson.
He had also been unfaithful to her and put her through a lot just like Lamar had done. As a result, the last thing that she will be looking to do is revisit her past.
Secondly, Lamar’s comments could be done for the sake of elevating his career. It is no secret that his career took a dive following his split from Khloe. Having said that, though, Jerry still has respect for Lamar.
He added: “He describes [himself as] someone who has regrets, and I hate to see someone who has regrets, so I was really pulling for him.
“I think it would be great for him if he won this whole thing, it would really propel him into a new stage.” Lamar does have a loyal fan base, and by opening up about Khloe, it has made him relatable with the public.
But whether that is enough to see him win the competition and meet Khloe is anyone’s guess. We will have to see how this will play out. So there you have it folks.
