WWE Smackdown Results returned as Sami Zayn was in the ring to celebrate hit Intercontinental Championship win in a self-coronation moment with a red carpet and all.

He touted justice being served and you can’t keep a good man down.

Sami pointed out there was a conspiracy toward him despite him winning the title, but he can overcome anything they throw at him.

He said he’d be happy to give Shinsuke Nakamura a rematch, but he’s still picking up the pieces of his kneecap, but he has no problem defending his title against anyone.

Jackass’s theme played and Johnny Knoxville ran out to the ring and Sami reluctantly gave him an introduction, then asked what he’s doing there.

Knoxville decided to crash his celebration like Sami did his, and Sami asked him to “get the hell out of here right now.”

Knoxville called him out for his challenge offer and Sami tried to get out of it by saying Knoxville doesn’t belong there or in the same ring with Sami.

Knoxville questioned if he’s a fighting champion and if he had the balls to accept.

Sami pretended to leave the ring, then jumped Knoxville and beat him down and hit a Helluva Kick before officials came out to pull them apart

Then he hit a second Helluva Kick.

Backstage, Sami plead his case to Adam Pearce and Ricochet interjected himself in and challenged Sami for being a fighting champion and Pearce made it official for next week.

    Sasha Banks vs. Shotzi

.@ShotziWWE and @SashaBanksWWE are no strangers to one another… Who will leave with the W on #SmackDown?! pic.twitter.com/5hGZNkAiXC

    — WWE (@WWE) February 26, 2022

Before the match could get underway, Naomi came out to join the commentators.

Shotzi went after Banks with a right to start it off, and after a couple of reversals Banks tired for a Three Amigos but Shotzi blocked the third attempt and draped Banks over the top rope.

Banks hit a meteora, a backstabber, and then locked in a Bank Statement for the win.

Naomi climbed into the ring and announced she and Banks will be the next WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.

Drew McIntyre vs. Madcap Moss w/Happy Corbin

Moss feigned an attack on McIntyre and Corbin hit him from behind and after beating McIntyre down, McIntyre hit a Glasgow Kiss and went for an Alabama Slam but Moss grabbed the ropes and pulled himself to the floor as we headed to commercial.

While on the break, Moss threw McIntyre into the barricade to get eh upper hand, and he hit a shoulder block for a pin attempt and then stomped away.

Moss and McIntyre exchanged blows, and McIntyre hit a pair of clotheslines and belly to belly suplexes before hitting a neckbreaker.

Corbin distracted the ref when McIntyre went for a Claymore, and Moss stuck a thumb in his eye and hit a DDT for a near pinfall.

Moss hit the ropes and ran into a Claymore and win for McIntyre.

    Lesnar destroys Reigns’ plans

Roman Reigns came out for the contract signing with Paul Heyman and the Usos flanking him. Once in the ring, he demanded Hersey, Pennsylvania acknowledge him and they did.

Heyman claimed Reigns and Lesnar’s match is bigger then Hogan vs Andre, Austin and the Rock, and even when Heyman ended the Undertaker’s streak. He’s giving Lesnar half credit for that.

He pointed out the security guards in the ring are they to protect Brock Lesnar from Reigns and the Usos, and called it a cliffhanger as we abruptly went to commercial.

Now it was Brock Lesnar’s turn to come to the ring and he set the WWE Championship up on the table while smiling at Reigns.

    Nothing will stand in @BrockLesnar’s way! #SmackDown @WWERomanReigns @HeymanHustle pic.twitter.com/KMfs0uUw12

    — WWE (@WWE) February 26, 2022

He referred to Reigns and Heyman as “Mr. Acknowledgment and Mr. D—” before introducing himself in another Heyman impersonation.

He admitted he’s very impulsive and told them then skid mark security guards won’t stop him if he wat to kick their backsides. The only thing keeping him from wiping them out is himself and the contract.

Reigns grew irritated and shoved the table, nearly taking it down. Lesnar signed without hesitating, and then Heyman ripped into him for his disrespect.

Heyman pointed out he won’t make it to WrestleMania as champion because he’s going to lose it next Saturday at Madison Square Garden.

Reigns then signed the contract making it official and was handed a mic. He told Lesnar he must be confused because that title is his.

He’s going to smash Lesnar at WrestleMania and went on how everything about Smackdown was his show as he lost his mind and claimed he’s WrestleMania.

Everyone works for him including the security.

Lesnar shoved the table aside and took out the security by hand and the table, laying waste to the security to close out the show with a shocked and disappointed Reigns looking on.

This was a nice twist on the mayhem that tends to follow contract signings and the show was pretty good overall.

What did you think of it, and will Lesnar keep the title this Saturday? Let us know in the comments below and thank you for joining WWE Smackdown Results.

We had a blast and can’t wait for next week.

    See you then!
