There are only a few spots left in the Face of The Revolution Ladder Match, but tonight either Orange Cassidy or Anthony Bowens would join the mix. Max Caster of The Acclaimed has already failed to make his way into the match, losing to Wardlow – but Bowens had a real chance of getting his biggest victory to date tonight. OC is a very beatable opponent for Bowens, but you can also never count Freshly Squeezed out.
Orange Cassidy Gets Overwhelmed By The Acclaimed
Before this match, The Acclaimed tried to get into the head of OC – who was more concerned that he thought he needed to climb something tonight. Even when he was compared to Macklemore, OC barely reacted. After the pre-match entrance rap, OC would get a chance to spit some rhymes and instead hit the low superkicks.
Wheeler Yuta took out Max Caster on the outside, and OC hit the dropkick while still holding the microphone before hitting a dive to the outside. Caster used the chain to punch Yuta out, before Bowens hit an inverted Alabama Slam onto the apron. In the ring, he’d get some stomps in on OC.
OC would be able to fight out of a submission hold, before being dropped with a neckbreaker and thrown to the outside. Bowens distracted the referee, while Caster choked out OC with the chain. OC was then stretched around the ringpost, before being stomped in the corner. Another neckbreaker would land – before OC flowed over the ropes and nailed the high crossbody.
Danhausen Curses The Acclaimed
Stundog Millionaire would be followed by a Mafia Kick – before Bowens hit a spinning pumphandle facebuster and a rushing knee. OC shot back with a Michinoku Driver, before almost ending up in The Arrival DDT, but sent Bowens outside. A springboard took out The Acclaimed, and back in the ring the diving DDT was followed by a tornado DDT for the two count.
Bowens would be able to get one more nearfall in the ring with a slam, but OC rolled to the outside. Caster looked to get OC with the chain, before getting cursed by Danhausen. OC took out Bowens with the Orange Punch for the win!
