Joanna Krupa, who was best known for being on the ‘Real Housewives of Miami,’ has confirmed her intention to travel to Poland in order to aid Ukrainian refugees.

Joanna, for her part, is Polish-American. And given that a significant number of Ukrainians have fled to Poland for safety, she wanted to do her bit to make sure that she could offer some help.
Her decision has also been influenced by the actions of her husband, Douglas Nunes, who is already in Poland to assist with transportation for the refugees.
And given that this conflict has inadvertently affected the neighboring countries around Ukraine, in one way or another, Joanna believed that it was extremely important to come together at this tough time.
In an interview with TMZ, she said: “I think everybody that’s Polish and lives there, of course they’re worried what’s next.
“I’m just so proud of the whole Polish community, everybody volunteering – doctors, nurses, people making food, people are organizing toys for the kids. There are so many orphans and animals in need.”
In the meantime, however, Joanna has been tasked with looking after their daughter until her husband returns. It is at that point where she will swap positions with him to provide support to the children in need.
And as she is a mother herself, Joanna understands the difficulties that the parents will be going through knowing that their children are suffering. In her own way, she is hoping to give back.
She added: “I’ll go over there…I just want to hug these kids and these families and go see the different shelters with the animals that were rescued.”
Joanna was praised heavily on social media. A significant majority of people were of the view that more celebrities needed to do initiatives like this, given that they have a large influence.
