Hello and welcome to WWE Smackdown Results!
We’re set for a fun night as we kick off WrestleMania Weekend with Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal and a triple threat match for the intercontinental Championship.
Let’s get to the action!
Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal
The show started with the competitors in the ring and it transitioned into a pretty cool video package paying tribute to Andre the Giant.
Back to the ring, it’s a nice collection of Smackdown and Raw talent, and Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler headed out as the match was ready to start.
Finn Balor’s entrance was next as the champions introductions continued. Once he entered, the match was underway.
Akira Tozawa was eliminated, then the was Reggie by Damian Priest when he showboated on the apron. Priest then tossed R-Truth out.
The Viking Raiders eliminated Jinder Mahal, and Shelton Benjamin helped Cedric Alexander eliminate T-Bar.

Moss ran over Drew Gulak and then eliminated him with a clothesline as Happy Corbin came out. He and Moss exchanged words as Moss was disappointing him.
Apollo Crews eliminated Alexander, and Commander Azeez eliminated Benjamin. Ciampa eliminated Mansoor, and Viking Raiders booted Crews and were eliminated by Azeez and Shanky.
The two giants faced off, an while Azeez tried to eliminate Shanky, the rest eliminated both of them.
Priest and Balor faced off and Balor eliminated him, and Ciampa was eliminated by Ziggler with an assist to Roode.
Roode and Ziggler tried to eliminate Balor, and Moss eliminated them and then Moss sent Balor over the top rope to win.
Moss celebrated winning by saying Andre was his hero and he finally followed in his footsteps. He then told a typical bad joke, but he earned this moment.
Intercontinental Championship Triple Threat – Ricochet (c) vs. Humberto vs. Angel
This should be interesting to see how Los Lotharios handle it, and then went right after Ricochet from two sides and beat him down without hesitation.

Ricochet used his quickness to fight back and hit a double hurricanrana on them. Humberto responded with an arm drag off the top rope.
Los Lotharios embraced as we headed to commercial.
Back from the break, Ricochet rallied, but was quickly beaten down again as Humberto went for a pin attempt and Angel looked upset.
Angel slipped in for a pin attempt and Humberto took exception. After Ricochet went for the pin on Humberto Angel broke up, Humberto tried to pin Angel.
Ricochet took advantage of their disagreement to take it to them but it was short loved as Angel saved a pin after a standing moonsault.
Ricochet front slammed Humberto off the top rope onto Angel and hit a 630 on Angel, and a Recoil on Humberto for the win.
Sasha Banks and Naomi vs. Carmella and Queen Zelina
To help promote their Fatal 4 Way match at WrestleMania, Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley and Natalya and Shayna Baszler were in the ring before leaving to let the match begin. Only a matter of time until a brawl breaks out.

Carmella and Banks started it off, and Carmella took her down with a right and pounded away.
Carmella locked in an upside down, and Zelina tagged in to hit a running knee for a pin attempt.
Naomi tagged in and nailed Carmella and Zelina with a dropkick, and then she and Banks hit running boots on them.
Naomi hit a split legged moonsault for the win. This was a decent match and WWE Smackdown Results are shocked there wasn’t a brawl breaking out.
