The Comedian was violently slapped by the Oscar winner after he threw an inappropriate jab at Jada Pinkett-Smith. The incident occurred at the 94th annual Academy Awards and left the star-studded hall and millions of viewers in shock. As a result, numerous people called for sanctions to be imposed on Will Smith.

Chris Rock sported dark khaki trousers and a jacket as he strolled along a street in NYC. The comedian’s recent stand-up world tour, titled Ego Death, has enjoyed a significant rise in sales since the slapping incident. Chris has remained silent over the incident and reportedly refused to press charges against the actor.

Meanwhile, Chris’s younger brother Kenny has publicly asked the academy to strip Smith of the Best Actor Oscar award. Speaking in a recent interview, Kenny, a professional actor said, “It eats at me watching it over and over again because you’ve seen a loved one being attacked and there’s nothing you can do about it. Every time I’m watching the videos, it’s like a rendition that just keeps going over and over in my head.”
“My brother was no threat to him and you just had no respect for him at that moment. You just belittled him in front of millions of people that watch the show”, he added. Will Smith had since taken to social media to tender an apology to Chris.
A few days, the star actor also relinquished his membership in the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. It is understood that the ‘Bad Boys For Life’ actor could still be stripped of his Oscar award by the academy as retribution for his actions.
