And in light of this, the prince recorded a message from his home in California to the TV.
Prince Harry made an announcement about the launch of his new project—Travalyst which is an initiative he created in 2019 in order to make travel and tourism more sustainable and at the same time cost effective. The first project of Travalyst focuses on New Zealand and aims at sustainable travel even while respecting culture, environment and local practices.

“For our campaign, we are encouraging people to flip the script. We are always being asked for our feedback on our trips and experiences, but what would happen if our holiday rated us?” Prince Harry said in his message. “It’s an important question to ask and we want all of you to help us answer it,” He added.
The website for Travalyst has a survey that helps you determine “how your holiday would rate you” and also several tips that would help people aim towards sustainable travel which includes taking care of nature and wildlife, shopping local and staying at an accommodation that is sustainable.
Prince Harry also mentioned that the campaign was inspired by the Māori culture and that he feels a “deep connection” towards them. “I want to thank the Maori people for welcoming us into your home and we look forward to following your lead and learning from you through this campaign,” the duke said, also explaining that the Maori culture understands sustainability, love and care “which are critical lessons we all can learn.”
Although the host of the show, Moana Maniapoto said she initially thought it was a scam when she was contacted by representatives of the prince, she found it interesting that a Royal spoke about Māori values.
