Joe Rogan picks Tesla. To buy a new Tesla you have to be amongst the population with higher income, because of its price and maintenance cost.
A new Tesla Model S costs roughly between $100k and $150k. Making it in the same price range as a Mercedes Benz S Class Convertible, BMW M8 Convertible, Audi RS E Tron GT, Porsche 911 Carrera and other iconic cars.
Joe Rogan Would Choose A Tesla To be His Lifetime Car
The UFC commentator Joe Rogan is one of the most famous and richest individuals in the UFC. And in MMA sport in general. He makes a small fortune only on his first job of a commentary, but when you add the podcast income on top of this, he is making more than $6-7 million yearly. With his podcast only he’s made more than $200 million until now.
Don’t be fooled by his modest looks and humble personality. He truly lives an expensive life. He speaks about his priorities and aspects of lifestyle on his podcast very often, so if you are following it, most probably you are aware of some of his hobbies.
One of his hobbies is collecting rare and vintage vehicles. He’s spoken many times about this on the podcast. In his car collection, you can find a 1965 Corvette Sting Ray, 1969 Chevy Nova, 1970 Cuda, Toyota Supra, 1971 Ford Bronco, and finally an everyday car, Tesla Model S.
When speaking about his fastest car, he cannot match anything he has with the Tesla. It is one of his favorite cars and just loves driving it. Because of the speed, acceleration, eco-friendliness, etc.
“Tesla’s are pretty fucking amazing. I have the newest one, which, you might as well be riding a roller coaster. I have the model S plaid. It’s preposterous. It goes zero to sixty in 1.9 seconds.” – Joe says with a great grin on his face.
He continues his brag about his car and says – “A four-door sedan that looks much sedated looking. It’s very family car looking. That thing is the fastest car I have. I have race cars, I have like crazy fast cars. I have like muscle cars, I have a Porsche 911 gt3. That car leaves that car in the dust. That Tesla buries them all. If I have to choose one car to drive, it’ll be that car. If I only had to narrow it down to one car. Because it’s so effortless.”
However, what about style? Does he think that the Tesla S is more stylish than the other vintage models that he owns?
Teslas are good for fun driving, and for saving the environment, however, when it comes to some old-school petrol driving, nothing beats the sound that a V8 makes. Joe might want to reconsider this decision. A Tesla for the rest of your life? No V8s? Hmm, I doubt that.
