Alba Fyre has been on a warpath since burning away her past, and has grabbed the attention of the NXT Women’s Division. Lash Legend had some choice words for Fyre, but refused to back those words up. Instead, Tatum Paxley would step up to take on Fyre – looking to get the biggest victory of her young career. Legend is not shy of striking opponents from behind, and could look to find a way to cost Fyre this match here tonight.
Alba Fyre Burns Through Tatum Paxley, Diamond Mine Gives Out A Title Shot
Fyre would grab a hammerlock to start this match, before hitting a mat return for a one count. Paxley would shoot for a single leg, and was able to get a near fall. Another quick pinfall attempt would get Fyre down for a one count, before Paxley shot right into a knee to the jaw.
A front drop suplex would get the two count, before Fyre would soar down with the Swanton Bomb – going from the post nearly to the other side of the ring. She doesn’t get paid by the hour, and this was another dominant victory.
She’d shake the hand of Paxley after the bell but up the ramp found trouble. Lash Legend would hit the pump kick to the face, and made it clear that she is finally ready to fight Fyre.
After the match, The Creed Brothers would be asked for a title shot from Edris Enofe & Malik Blade – and would give them what they wanted. Roderick Strong had some issues with this, but remembered they’re first time champions – and just made their first, and hopefully only, mistake.
Apollo Crews Joins Forces With Solo Sikoa For Main Event
Earlier in the show, Solo Sikoa would step up to Carmelo Hayes. He called next for the NXT North American Championship, but was beaten down in a three on one encounter – with Grayson Waller joining up with Hayes & Williams.
Now, Sikoa is ready to fight them off alone, and if someone wants to join him – that’s fine, Apollo Crews would join this main event – and kick this one off hot. Waller would kick off with Sikoa and make the mistake of headbutting a Samoan. Crews hit the ring for the first time since 2019, when he faced KUSHIDA.
Delayed suplex would follow, with Waller held upside down for thirty seconds before impact. Sikoa would follow up on Waller, but Crews quickly found his way back into the ring. Waller would get some stomps in the corner, before Hayes would come in and nail a pump kick.
Sikoa would get the tag and nailed the thrust kick on Waller, before the running hip attack. Crews tagged himself in and hit a perfect dive to the floor. The crowd loved having Crews back in NXT, and it’s a much better use of his talent than only working matches on WWE Main Event.
Grayson Waller Tastes Defeat
Crews would lock in the side headlock and control Waller in the ring, before Sikoa got the tag and followed suit. Hayes would get the tag after Waller was shoved into him. He’d be brought in the hard way, before some heavy shoulder tackles.
Hayes would be able to drop Sikoa for some stomps, before Waller would follow. A quick takedown kept Sikoa on the mat, before the jumping elbow drop for a near fall. Waller would catch Sikoa with a cravat before some trapped knee strikes. He’d move right into a crossface, but Sikoa would break free.
Sikoa would try to fight to the tag, and Crews would run wild with some german suplexes, before a dropkick and standing moonsault for a two count. Waller would get caught into the powerbomb for the finish. Apollo Crews is back in a big way, and got the win here tonight.
