We are all aware that billionaire Elon Musk is strongly against the invasion of Ukraine. From the very beginning, he starts tweeting about it, and at one point he even challenges the Russian President for a ‘single combat’.
“I hereby challenge Vladimir Putin to single combat.” Musk says on Twitter. “Stakes are Ukraine. Do you agree to this fight?”
Elon Musk Helps Ukraine’s Forces Once More – He Provides Additional Starlink Kits To Expand Internet Service In Ukraine
His single combat challenge did not receive any response or acknowledgment. But, his help to Ukraine’s Forces through his SpaceX company did not go unnoticed.
While the war between Russia and Ukraine is raging with full potency, the SpaceX CEO, Elon Musk delivers an additional Starlink Satelite to Ukraine’s Forces. The purpose of it is to extend the internet coverage in the area. The internet shows to be a great tool for the war. All the communications and sharing of information go through it. Without it, the forces do not have any other means of communication. Finally, it is a crucial part of the war and Musk knows that.
When the billionaire sends the first ‘batch’ of Starlinks back in May, and for that he receives a serious threat from the Russian government.
“Elon Musk, thus, is involved in supplying the fascist forces in Ukraine with military communication equipment. And for this, Elon, you will be held accountable like an adult. No matter how much you’ll play the fool.” – Dmitry Rogozin, the Russian Space Chief says.
Now, after the second batch, we might be witnessing even more serious threats heading to Elon. However, Elon seems not to bother much with the threats. According to him, he does what is right, and with his help, he only ‘makes things fair’ for both sides.
On June 5th, the billionaire goes on Twitter and shares a video where he explains that a tentative number of broadband service units are on their way to Ukraine.
“Over 15,000 Starlinks have been delivered to Ukraine.” – Elon says in the middle of the video.
The billionaire is receiving threats from Russia, but from the counterparty, from Ukraine, they cannot be more thankful. An official Twitter account, ‘Defence of Ukraine’, a Ukrainian Government organization publicly thanks the billionaire. They share a photo of Ukrainian soldiers with a package in front of them.
