On Saturday, June 9, 2022, a raceway turned into the ring as a big brawl broke out at Old Bridge Township Raceway in Englishtown, New Jersey. The melee saw fans duke it out in the stands during a Formula Drift race after two spectators irritated others to the point of fists being thrown!
However, we’re just getting this now as the video from the fight went viral last week.
Raucous Rumble at the Raceway as Brawl Breaks Out at Formula Drift Competition
It all started with two spectators who were more busy touching others than paying attention to the race. Apparently, the couple was confronted about their behavior, and the woman in the couple—seen in the black shirt in the video—figured she jump at another woman.
Her accomplice in the unwanted touching—the man wearing yellow—jumped into the situation as well only for another guy to dive into the fracas. So, you have two women exchanging blows on the ground and these two guys tussling. Later in the fight, the man in yellow tried to film the situation with his phone but another man jumped into it and tried to swat the phone away.
Things would die down after track security was called and the disruptive couple began making out. After being booted from the venue, they apparently got into another argument with security outside. All around, this was a wild situation that just so happened to be caught on video.
There was no update as to who the couple is or if they had been arrested. I mean, a fight broke out in a public place, it’s definitely a disturbance. At the moment, there is no update as to what happened afterward and that makes for a very random Saturday.
