Prince William is feeling the strain of being a member of the Royal family with reports indicating that he wants a break.

That is according to Royal expert Ingrid Seward. There is no doubt that William has had to increase his workload in the Royal family ever since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s departure.
In addition, given that Queen Elizabeth II is not getting any younger, William has been primed with more duties in the event of her passing.
And this did get the better of him during his recent Caribbean Royal tour with Kate Middleton, which was characterised by protests being carried out about their presence in the region.
With that being said, it is understandable if things can get too much sometimes. In her comments, Ingrid said: “He has had moments of wanting to break away from the restrictions imposed upon him by his royal life.
One way in which William will have had the opportunity to do just that is celebrate his 40th birthday in style. Reports indicate that Queen Elizabeth II had hosted a party for him and Kate.
But outside of that, Ingrid’s comments are significant for the following reasons. First of all, they may explain why Harry decided to walk away from the Royal Family in the first place. After all, it is evident that everybody needs some downtime.
Secondly, these comments reinforce what Harry said in his controversial Oprah Winfrey interview. He expanded how William was not able to leave the Royal family, even if he had a desire to do so.
In his comment at the time, Harry remarked: “I am part of the system with them, I always have been, but I guess — and I’m very aware of this — my brother can’t leave that system, but I have.”
