Prince William has been slammed after reports that he has been leaking gossip concerning his brother Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Prince William BLASTED For Allowing ‘ Leaked Gossip’ About Harry And Meghan To Spread
It is no secret that William and Harry are not on the best of terms. In Harry’s recent visit to the UK to attend Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee, William had reportedly refused to make eye contact with his brother at the ‘Service of Thanksgiving’ at St. Paul’s Cathedral.
It is one thing not making eye contact with one’s brother, but another thing entirely when it comes to allowing others to make disparaging remarks about your brother.
And this is something that William has allegedly been involved in with sources claiming he allowed close friends to spread statements about Harry and Meghan.
Omid Scobie, who happens to be a Royal expert, had this to say: “Prince William plans to phase out the ‘never complain, never explain’ mantra. Good.
“But starting with leaked gossip about family fractures he has criticised Harry for sharing probably isn’t the best way of going about it.”
If these comments are taken to be true, then they are very significant for the following reasons. First of all, it demonstrates that William has no intention of reconciling with his brother anytime soon.
After all, unlike Harry, William has not gone out of his way to visit his family by traveling to the US to see Harry. Secondly, this is not the ideal image of someone who is being primed to take the throne later down the line.
Omar added: “My experience with the Duke of Cambridge is that his tight circle of friends will only talk after a nod from the man himself.
“In the past, those who haven’t received such authorisation have found themselves in deep trouble.” With William’s workload under the Royal family increasingly, the last thing he needs is further division with his brother.
Time will tell if he can pull through. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
