Meghan Markle’s friend Priyanka Chopra had reportedly snubbed Prince William and Kate Middleton during their visit to Wimbledon last year.
Meghan Markle’s Friend Priyanka Chopra ‘Totally Ignored’ William And Kate At Wimbledon-‘I Would Do The Same If My Friend Was Mistreated’
Priyanka happens to be a close friend of Meghan, which may have resulted in her loyalties being tested. The wife of Nick Jonas has shown previously how she is on good terms with Meghan.
In the picture here, we can see that Meghan, Priyanka and another woman happen to be posing for a selfie together. They are all wearing sunglasses and could not be any happier.
The post was captioned by the following comments: “Girls day out.. #whoruletheworld @meghanmarkle @mubinarattonsey thank u for the kinda day I needed.”
In addition, Meghan has spoken on how she admires Priyanka too. So much so that she told the Indian Express that they had become very close: “Priyanka is unbelievable, she’s become a really good friend.”
With that being said, William and Kate were entering into the lion’s den. The duo are known for attending Wimbledon having been pictured in the royal box on several occasions. But in 2021, it seems not everybody was happy to see them.
It is alleged that Priyanka was sitting behind William and Kate. And as the duo made their way to take their seats, the crowd began to clap them.
However, Priyanka had apparently done the opposite. Not only did she not clap, but in doing so, she had apparently decided to look the other way and adjust her scarf instead.
And this was picked up by several observers on social media. One person wrote: “She totally ignored them. I would do the same if my friend was mistreated.”
While another person stated: “The way Priyanka did not even look in their direction is enough for me.” It is safe to say that Priyanka’s loyalties are clear, but as for William and Kate, they will have plenty of other supporters out there.
