Christian Cage is keen on ruining the career of Jungle Boy. Not only did he put him on the injured list following a brutal ladder match against the Young Bucks – he’d also rip into the dead father of Jungle Boy, and now has also gotten into the ear of Jungle Boys tag team partner. Tonight, with Luchasarus by his side – Christian Cage will once again have a chance to speak.

Christian Cage Comes Face To Face With An Old Rival

After Blood & Guts, the Cage everyone is talking about is Christian Cage. Fans are still wondering why he turned on Jungle Boy, and those same fans are now trying to find out why Luchasarus would side with him. Before any answers could be given, Matt Hardy came to the ring.

He’d call him the ‘Michael Jordan of being an asshole’ and noted that he’s become good friends with Jungle Boy in recent months. Christian would claim that after this rant, he thinks Jeff might be the sober one – prompting the crowdto start an asshole chant. Matt Hardy knows what Christian is doing – and is just hoping to make a ton of money off of Luchasaurus.

Matt knows all about this, having done the same with Butcher & The Blade and Private Party. However, he learned the error of his ways. Christian would say that Matt doesn’t learn anything, as shown by him ignoring his brother’s issues to try and ride nostalgia for fans to care about him again.

Finally, Christian said that Matt Hardy is the most embarrassing thing to come from the Hardy family. Matt tried to fight, but a headbutt from Luchasaurus would level him. Powerbomb on the apron and chokeslam through the table would follow, and Christian Cage stands tall.

Keith Lee & Swerve Strickland Are Remaining On The Same Page

Swerve In Our Glory have had their issues lately, but with the looming threat of Team Taz coming soon – they’re determined to get back on the same page. After Swerve was brutalised by Butcher & The Blade during the Royal Rampage match, Keith Lee will back him up here tonight as they face the mercs for hire in a tag team clash. These two teams match up formation wise wonderfully, with Lee & Butcher as two of the strongest men on the AEW roster – and Blade & Swerve two of the slickest.

Keith Lee would kick things off with Blade, and would absorb a slap to the face and level Blade with a headbutt. Butcher hit the ring, and Lee would toss him aside with ease. Grabbing a steel chair, Butcher would almost blow the match – before Blade reminded him that they’re in the Top 5, and champions make the most money. Swerve & Blade would meet in the ring, before a leapfrog saw Swerve land on his opponent’s head.

Blade grabbed a waist lock, but Lee helped Swerve get free before Swerve nailed a dropkick. The Bunny played human shield for Blade, allowing for Swerve to be tripped on the apron. Neckbreaker on the floor would be followed by Butcher mauling him in the ring.

The Young Bucks Lay Down The Challenge

Swerve was sent to the bottom rope, and Bunny would choke him behind the back of the referee. Butcher would look for the superplex, before Swerve would bite the hand and send him to the ring for a diving uppercut.

Lee would hit the ring, and would throw Blade into Butcher. Swerve would hit the rolling flatliner, before the Swerve In Our Glory double strike. Blade shoved Swerve into the path of Lee, before a knee strike and massive lariat for a two count.

Swerve hit the House Call kick, before Lee would crash into Blade in the corner. Spirit Bomb Swerve Stomp combo would land, and we have our winners. After the match, Hobbs & Starks hit the ring. They’d lay down the challenge, but The Young Bucks crashed the ring upon hearing a debate over who the best tag team is.

The record would be set straight, as they’re the champions and started this damn company. Every tag team is eating good in AEW, but they set the table. They’d say both teams failed at Double or Nothing – and Young Bucks would go on to slay Jurassic Express. However, they called for a three way tag team match for the belts. Swerve In Our Glory vs. Team Taz vs. The Young Bucks!
