Bron Breakker is a simple man, his focus is 100% on the man who put him through a table two weeks ago. He’s looking for JD McDonaugh, who wrestled Cameron Grimes in his NXT 2.0 debut earlier in the show.
Bron Breakker Knows The Irish Ace Is Looking For Attention
Breakker called Grimes one of the best in NXT 2.0, and while things got personal – Grimes stood and faced him like a man. That’s something Breakker can respect. However, McDonaugh attacked from behind like a coward. Breakker knows this game, and knows that McDonaugh wanted his attention… and he got it.
McDonaugh would appear on the screen and ask how the shoulder is feeling. He will dissect Breakker, and has been studying him. McDonaugh knows how to tear tendon from bone, and Breakker can try and fight through the pain – the brain can only take so much. Is Breakker ready to risk his health for that belt? That will become clear when they meet in the ring.
The Masked Mathlete Makes His NXT 2.0 Debut
A-Kid made his debut in NXT 2.0 without much fanfare, but is ready to try something new. Donning a mask and new name of Axiom, he is ready to show his technical wrestling skills are something to fear, and that they can take him to the top of the roster.
He would be matched up with Dante Chen, and tossed with an arm drag before avoiding the enziguri. Chen applied a headlock, but Axiom would be able to slip free. He’d outwrestle Chen on the mat, before nailing a huge dropkick.
Chen would send him off the ropes before a forearm to the back, before a slam to the mat. Axiom would nail a satellite DDT, before a Pele Kick, crossbody splash and a massive dropkick to the jaw for the finish. A solid debut, showing the skills of A-Kid just needed a different cover to see success in NXT 2.0.
Zoey Stark Is Back
Tonight, we find out who the next challenger to Mandy Rose will be, as twenty women hit the ring for a battle royale – and the last woman standing gets the face Mandy Rose soon. The likes of Indi Hartwell, Nikkita Lyons, Ivy Nile, Alba Fyre, Fallon Henley and Cora Jade will all be gunning for a shot – and it’s last woman standing. Over the top rope eliminations in this one, with everyone starting right in the ring.
Zoey Stark would make her return to the ring after an ACL injury in November, a major shock to start this match. Jade fled the ring and took a shot from Nile, before being run to the back. She wasn’t eliminated yet, and this match would really kick off. It was complete chaos, and Amari Miller was taken out by Ivy Nile.
Indi Hartwell took someone off the apron, and commentary failed to detail just who it was – showing how large they are on the roster. Lash Legend would swing Alba Fyre around like a weapon, before they’d eliminate each other. Wendy Choo was dropped, but landed on a pillow and wasn’t eliminated. Stark would almost be eliminated, but she’d take Yulisa Leon out. Valentina Feroz would follow, before Fallon Henley was taken out. Choo would battle with Stratton on the apron, and was properly eliminated.
Sloane Jacobs would be eliminated by Katana Chance and Kayden Carter, and Elektra Lopez would follow. Lyons would almost remove Carter, before she’d take the fight to Tatum Paxley. Ivy Nile would be eliminated by Chance & Carter, before Nile pulled Chance to the floor – and Lyons would take Carter down.
Cora Jade Tries To Steal The Win – But Fails
Tatum Paxley would send herself from the ring to save Nile from a two on one attack, as Hartwell would hit spinebusters in the ring. Tiffany Stratton would eliminate her, and we were down to four. Kiana Janes, Zoey Stark, Nikkitta Lyons, and Tiffany Stratton. Lyons would kick James away, before a running elbow.
Stark would take a German Suplex, before James was tossed from the ring – and Lyons followed after Stratton got her from behind. There was two left, Stark and Stratton. Stark would throw her over the top with a lariat, and just one foot hit as Stratton bounced back to the apron.
They’d battle on the apron, but battled back into the ring. Stark hit a German Suplex, before sending Stratton aside. Cora Jade returned to the match, and was eliminated – meaning Stark wins!
