Jordan Huie of the Overtimer here to give you the live recap and results of tonight’s edition of AEW Dynamite!
Segment 1: Jon Moxley comes out to open the show, a week removed from defeating PAC to become the new No. 1 Contender to the AEW World Championship, held firmly by Chris Jericho. He called out Le Champion to face him one-on-one, but he of course brought the Inner Circle with him anyway, plus five more thugs. Moxley took them on in a brawl that was quickly pulled apart.
Segment 2: The Butcher & The Blade take on the Young Bucks, looking to get revenge for MJF after he got tossed into a pool last week. The Bucks got the victory. Butcher and Blade tried for a post-match jumping, but Kenny Omega and Hangman Page made the save!
Segment 3: Nyla Rose took on Big Swole in singles action. Nyla got the win after a fairly rugged match.
Segment 4: Cody Rhodes comes out for his singles match with Kip Sabian. Anderson backing up Cody, Penelope Ford coming out with Sabian. During the match, Anderson gets into an argument with the official and shoves him away. Gets ejected for his troubles, leaving Cody in trouble with no one to help neutralize the help from Ford, until Joey Janela makes a cameo to distract them! Cody defeated Sabian after hitting three straight, very spiteful Crossrhodes!
Segment 5: Britt Baker comes out for a promo, deriding Tony Schiavone and Jim Ross as well as taking a shot at Riho. Kenny Omega and Hangman Page meet with the Young Bucks backstage. Page mocks the Bucks by showing them championship nameplates he had made for them, saying, “You might need them one day”.
Segment 6: Scorpio Sky and Frankie Kazarian of SCU defeated Jack Evans and Angelico of the Hybrid-2. PAC makes a threat that next week he’s coming for blood.
Segment 7: Main Event time! It’s the Inner Circle, with Chris Jericho leading Santana and Ortiz, against Darby Allin and Private Party in a big time six man tag team match. The Inner Circle got the win, then jumped them afterwards, trying to injure Darby, until Moxley made the save to close the show!
