Prince Harry has been slammed for degrading the role of the Royal family.
Prince Harry Accused Of Degrading Royal Family-‘Harry Is Increasingly Just A Mouthpiece For Meghan Markle’s Far-Left Political Activism’
That is according to foreign policy analyst Nile Gardiner. This comment is in relation to Harry’s increasing involvement in public affairs in the United States.
This is despite the fact that he is no longer a member of the Royal family, nevertheless, he continues to use his royal title, which does carry with it royal implications.
So far, this has resulted in him speaking at the United Nations most recently when he touched on various topics, such as climate change, poverty and Roe v Wade.
While his supporters have welcomed that, others have argued that Harry has been following in the footsteps of Meghan’s left-wing activism.
In his comments, Nile said: “Prince Harry is increasingly just a mouthpiece for Meghan Markle’s far-left political activism. A sad decline for a once hugely popular figure.
“He is actively undermining the British Monarchy by engaging in political attacks, and damaging the image of the Royal Family in America.”
This point was most recently seen when Harry and Meghan both expressed their reservations over the US Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v Wade.
In process of doing so, Harry referred to it as a “global assault on democracy and freedom,” while Meghan admitted that she and Harry were feminists.
Nevertheless, not everyone resonated with Nile’s sentiments. A certain subset of people felt that Harry was simply acting in his best interests. And if that meant touching upon issues that Meghan found important, then so be it.
One person wrote: “But get this through your [skull] #MeghanMarkle did NOT marry her SOULMATE to find herself a slave to the monarchy! She married #PrinceHarry to be happy and remain free.”
As long as Harry and Meghan are happy, then that is the most important thing to remember going forward, irrespective of what others have to say. So there you have it folks.
