A Florida woman was involved in a bizarre act where she wielded a whip, waved a pitchfork around, and tried to sell teddy bears behind a Publix. It seems like a scenario from Who’s Line is it Anyway but let’s find out what happened.
Florida Woman Arrested After Attacking a Minivan with a Pitchfork While Trying to Sell Teddy Bears Behind a Publix Store
Lisa Slone (56) was selling teddy bears behind the Publix store—why she wasn’t attempting to sell them in front and the legality of the teddy bears are unknown. These could be fentanyl-laced bears, we don’t know.
Normally, selling teddy bears, shirts, shoes, and the like is considered harmless if not a bit annoying but pop-up panhandlers get business all the same. However, Slone had a whip and a pitchfork with her and that just points to her being a menace of some sort.
Sure enough, she attacked a minivan with her pitchfork. Once the Florida Highway Patrol arrived to deal with her, Slone began running around with her whip and pitchfork yelling and screaming.
Eventually, troopers managed to arrest her after she refused orders. While in the vehicle, she managed to get out of her seatbelt and began kicking the window.
According to the troopers, Slone was “highly intoxicated on some sort of stimulant drug.” Currently, she sits in Lake County Jail on a $2,000 bond. Slone was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
