In an update to the death of Taylor Pomaski, former NFL player Kevin Ware Jr has been formally charged with first-degree murder and tampering with evidence.

Pomaski went missing in late April 2021 following a party and there had been reports that she and Kevin Ware Jr fought argued and fought at the party. By May 11, 2021, Taylor Pomaski’s family reported her missing as they hadn’t heard from her in days.
The following week, the case went from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit to the homicide team. Of course, the homicide squad felt that she “disappeared under very suspicious circumstances and may be the victim of foul play.”
Seven months later, on December 10, 2021, a body was found that homicide investigators felt might be tied to the 29-year-old’s disappearance. In April 2022, the body was confirmed to be that of Taylor Pomaski.
Ware was arrested on July 28, 2022, and charged with first-degree murder. The 41-year-old short-lived NFL tight end could face 15 years behind bars if found guilty.
