NFL Hall of Famer and Knights of Degen WR Terrell Owens had a situation with a neighbor which could’ve taken a turn for the worst on August 3, 2022.
Terrell Owens Involved in Altercation with Neighbor – “You Never Know How That Situation Could’ve Turned”
The situation began when Owens confronted his neighbor about accusing him of speeding and calling the police. Things turned into an argument and the woman accusing Terrell Owens of threatening her. The neighbor would even say “You’re a Black man approaching a white woman!”
Owens told TMZ that he is fortunate to have made it out of that situation without it escalating further. “If the wrong type of cops came out, if they got the wrong type of information, Owens began. “Her, you saw the video, she started crying, you never know how that situation could’ve turned.”
In reflecting on the situation, the Hall of Famer admitted that it could’ve been worse. “I could’ve died,” he said. “Honestly, I could have died and the storyline would be totally different.”
Terrell Owens is hoping that lawmakers are paying attention to altercations like this and do something about situations such as the one he experienced. What form that would take wasn’t elaborated on but incidents such as “Bird Watching While Black” which happened in May 2020 and was caught on camera are issues today.
