Joe Rogan Lost His Mind Over Greatest Head Kick KO At The UFC 278 - Said Leon Edwards Hurt Kamaru Usman

The moments during a UFC fight when you hear Joe Rogan yelling – ‘He hurt him!’ Those are the moments that you need to pay close attention to.

Joe Rogan knows how to overreact to highlights during UFC fights to attract the most attention and to make watching them even more special and exciting.

Joe Rogan Lost His Mind Over Greatest Head Kick KO At The UFC 278

The whole commentary team at the UFC 278 had their jaws down when Kamaru Usman dropped to the floor unconscious after the brutal head kick that Leon Edwards delivered. Joe Rogan was no exception. Furthermore, his face when he realized what has happened got even more popular and started being shared as a meme on the internet.

Leon Edward is the first Jamaican UFC champion and he got there with an impressive win over Kamaru Usman, putting an end to his impressive 19-fight win streak.

Rogan is in the sport, on the commentary bench since 2002 when he made his debut at the UFC 37.5. He usually takes part in commentating on pay-per-view events, happening in the north part of the American continent.

The KO moment caught Joe Rogan by surprise and he started shaking and pushing his fellow commentary colleagues at the moment of the KO. However, it was the face he made that caught the attention of the UFC fans. It went viral and became some sort of a meme instantly.

After Joe realized what happened and was back from his amazing overreaction he explained what the fuss is all about. “Edwards head-kicked Kamaru Usman into the shadow realm.” – Joe screamed.

“That was one of the most spectacular head-kick knockouts in the history of the sport. Considering the stakes, considering the consequences.” – Rogan says.

“I mean, it’s flawless – flawless technique. The way he set it up with that left, Kamaru leaned to the right – perfect head kick, out cold.”

“Nothing compares. It’s the greatest head-kick knockout in the history of the sport. With the most consequences, the most at stake, the most doubt, the most people counting him out, including us. It was like a movie. We were counting him out. Nevertheless, we were thinking he was going to lose a decision. Kamaru Usman was dominating. He was controlling the rounds.”

Joe Rogan is passionate about MMA and doesn’t back out of showing it. That’s why fans love him, and that’s why he is in the sport for so long. Despite involvement in the numerous controversies he remains in the commentary team and he is there to stay.
