The 36-year-old top executive from Neuralink, Shivon Zilis, recently became the mother of two of Elon Musk’s children. According to reports, Elon Musk’s twins were born as a result of in vitro fertilization, on Shivon’s wish.
Zilis is a very successful woman. She is highly ambitious and works for Elon for quite some time now. She is the director of operations and special projects at Neuralink and she is the one who leaked the news of the in vitro fertilization. According to New York Post, she told some of her colleagues about the process she went through, and as anybody would expect – the information leaked.

Elon Musk and Shivon Zillis had their children back in November last year after they had been working together for more than five years. Well, technically not together, but after Zillis reported about her work to Elon Musk for more than five years. That would be more accurate.
As we mentioned, Shivon being a highly ambitious person wanted high-quality offspring. And what would be better than her boss Elon Musk in her eyes? According to Neuralink’s intercompany rules, employees are prohibited from entering a romantic relationship with anyone on a higher scale than themselves at the company. This is due to avoid any potential conflicts of interest.
Zillis would have directly broken the rule by involving in a personal relationship with Elon Musk. According to Routers, since the conceiving did not happen ‘the natural way’ – the nature of the relationship is not romantical. Neuralink’s executives accept the explanation and she continues her role at the company.
Elon Musk and Shivon Zillis continued working together ever since the birth of their children. They meet almost on a daily basis. According to the New York Post, the trust between the two is much higher now, after they have children together.
According to reports, the increase in trust caused Musk to send Zillis to meet with Tomas Oxley, the CEO of Neuralink’s competitor Syncron. New York Post reports that the nature of the meeting was strictly professional as the companies spoke about cooperation. Since both companies cover similar business areas, Musk shows high interest in making an investment in Syncron.
Shivon Zillis, nor Musk respond to requests for comment on the personal matter. In April, Musk and Zillis petitioned a Texas Court to change the last name of the children to Musk.
Elon Musk is a father of 9 children. He has them with three different women.
