TV host Natalie Barr launched a scathing attack on Meghan Markle by calling her a tosser on live TV.
Host Natalie Barr Calls Meghan Markle A Tosser On Live TV-‘She’s Just Full Of It’
Tosser is a derogatory term used to refer to an obnoxious person. And these comments were made in response to Meghan’s in-depth interview with New York magazine ‘The Cut.’
And it seems that Meghan did not come across as very relatable, as Natalie admitted that she did not finish reading the interview since she could no longer tolerate it.
In her comments, she said: “I couldn’t even stomach getting through the whole article. I think in Australia we’d say she’s just full of it. She’s a tosser. She’s a total tosser.”
That comments generated a lot of controversy for the following reasons. First of all, the term can also have some other connotations.
According to Urban Dictionary, tosser can refer to “one who masturbates.” Secondly, given that the other hosts were not so scathing towards Meghan, Natalie’s comments stood out even more.
Her co-host Edwina Bartholomew had a far more laid-back approach towards Meghan. In her comments, Edwina remarked: “I think she has a very different narrative, perhaps, in the US to what is being accepted in the UK.”

The fans on social media had a lot to say about the matter. A certain subset of people were of the view that regardless of what you think about Meghan, this term should not have been said.
Meanwhile, others felt that Meghan’s conduct had ultimately led to this negative perception of her. One person wrote: “Oh just ignore knat she’s nothing but a negative bitter old woman spreading hate.”
While another person stated: “It’s the truth.. Megain couldn’t go to a function because her child wasn’t in a room with a faulty heater. It just says it all about the creature…Me me me me me me me.”
In hindsight, perhaps Natalie could have used another term. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
