According to reports, the funeral is set to be held on Monday, 18th September 2022. During the course of that process, there are expected to be around 500 Heads of States.
It is noticeable that this has excluded Russia in light of the current tension caused by the war with Ukraine.
The Royal Family has a particularly good relationship with President Zelensky, as shown when Prince William and Kate Middleton made a visit to see the president in 2020.
In the picture here, we can see William and Kate standing next to each other as they stand across the Ukrainian leader and his wife. They have massive smiles on their faces and could not be any happier.
The post was captioned by the following comments: “In October 2020 we had the privilege to meet President Zelenskyy and the First Lady to learn of their hope and optimism for Ukraine’s future.

It is not surprising, then, Olena is now taking time out to show the ‘firm’ respect, especially since they had backed the country in their time of need.
President Volodymyr is unsurprisingly not going to be in attendance, as he is preoccupied with defending his country. But the thoughts of those in attendance will also recognise the plight that the Ukrainians are going through.
With that being said, Olena’s presence will show the support between Ukraine and Britain. A source confirmed the following: “Olena Zelenska’s presence is yet another sign of the global support for Ukraine while Russia is isolated.
“Britain is one of Ukraine’s staunchest allies. Her presence at the funeral is a sign of that friendship and mutual respect.”
