Fans BASH King Charles III Over Harry And Meghan’s Seating Arrangements At Queen Elizabeth’s Funeral-‘So Mean To His Son, Maybe Harry Reminds Him Of Diana’
The Sussexes were seated away from the front row that was occupied by the working royals, including King Charles III, Queen Consort Camilla, Prince William and Kate Middleton.
But as part of that process, it appears that Harry and Meghan were given the least favourable seats. In the picture here, we can see the couple being squashed into a corner on the second row as they sit alongside Princess Beatrice and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.
They are all singing some hymns, but that did not prevent the seating arrangements from generating a lot of talking points. First of all, Prince Andrew was seated on the front row.
It could be argued that he had also done a significant amount of damage to the Royal Family by virtue of being involved in the sexual assault allegation concerning Virginia Guthrie vis-à-vis the Jeffrey Epstein scandal.
Therefore, if Andrew was allowed, then why were the Sussexes not on the front row. Secondly, this approach appears to follow the same blueprint as the seating arrangements at the Platinum Jubilee.
It just so happened that the Sussexes were also sat alongside Beatrice there too. The fans on social media had a lot to say about the matter.
A certain subset of people were of the view that this decision was justified, given that the Sussexes were no longer working royals. As such, they could not be afforded the privilege that they would have otherwise received.
Meanwhile, others were of the view that the conduct of the Royal Family was shameful, as exceptions could have been made at a funeral.
One person wrote: “He [Charles] is so mean to his son. Maybe Harry reminds him of Diana that’s why he treats him like that.”
Ultimately, people were able to pay their respects. And that is the most important thing. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
