For the past few months, Rhea Ripley has not been cleared to wrestle. While the exact issue remains unclear, Ripley would post a picture of herself wearing a heart monitor to social media, while reports of a concussion would also circulate. At the end of the day – all we knew was Ripley was not going to be wrestling, forcing her to miss a chance to face Bianca Belair for the RAW Women’s Championship. However, she returned to the ring last night at a live event.
Rhea Ripley Returns To Action In Mixed Tag Team Match
At a WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event event in Sioux City, Iowa – Rhea Ripley would open the show in a Mixed Tag Team match alongside The Judgement Day member Damien Priest. This was a losing effort against former tag tag partner Nikki A.S.H and Dolph Ziggler. However, win or lose – this match was important for the reason that it was the first time Ripley was in the ring for a match since June.

Live event results can sometimes point us in the direction of upcoming TV matches, with Damage CTRL vs. Brooke & Tamina and Rollins vs. Theory standing out as potential matches for Monday Night RAW. It seems likely as well that Rhea Ripley will get the title shot against Belair she earned back in May, and could well be the one to take Belair down.
