Last week on WWE NXT, we would see an epic main event as Katana Chance & Kayden Carter defended their NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships against Zoey Stark & Nikkita Lyons. It was a close match, with the champions able to retain. However, what had people talking was what happened after, as Stark beat Lyons down – ending a promising tag team. Tonight, Stark has a chance to answer the question of “Why?”

Zoey Stark Is The Hunter, Everyone Else Is Just Prey

Stark would say her back feels so much better, not having to carry Lyons anymore. When she returned from injury, she was like a bat out of heel – defeating 19 women in a Battle Royale. She’d be called into a meeting soon after, saying that they wanted Stark to team with Lyons for a tournament over the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships. Stark knew she’d carry a heavy load, but was ready to represent NXT.

Stark would suffer an injury during her match with Mandy Rose over the NXT Women’s Championship, causing plans to change. Lyons would meet her in the trainers room, saying “I’m not mad at you.” This set something in Stark, and when she got back – she’d put Lyons on her back through training, match study and matches – and got nothing but apologies and excuses, instead of results.

So when she had the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship in hand and Lyons right there, she knew what to do. The more Stark gives to rising stars, the more they leech from her. She tried to help, but is sick of busting her ass in the ring for no respect. NXT is no longer about the future, it’s about Zoey Stark. She’s undeniable, she’s the hunter, and the rest are just prey.

    Indus Sher Send A Message

For the first time since 2021, Indus Sher are set to hit the ring for a match. Veer has found his way back to NXT after a failed run on Monday Night RAW, and has linked back up with Sanga. While Sanga seemed apprehensive at joining back with Veer, he’s since been convinced. Tonight, they are in action – and their opponents better be ready to be run through.

Veer & Sanga would be on the same page hitting the ring. Sanga would start with George Cannon, and he was launched throat first onto the top rope. A Full Nelson slam would follow, with Veer getting the tag before a double splash. Cannon would be thrown into a tag to his even smaller partner, keeping the mauling coming.

Throwing him across the ring, Veer would tag Sanga back in for another double splash. Stalling scoop slam would be followed by another, before Veer would leap up for an elbow drop. Indus Sher grabbed Cannon on the apron and took him out for good, before a backbreaker elbow drop combo for the win.

After the match, they’d call out former NXT Tag Team Champions The Creed Brothers. NXT fans respect them, and now Veer & Sanga will beat them to take that respect for themselves. Can Julius & Brutus Creed stand up to a team like Indus Sher? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.

Since getting access to the internet, he's watched more wrestling than he could ever remember from all around the world. It's hard to keep track of what happens in the wild world of professional wrestling, but he always tries to stay up to date. Note: No relation to Tully Blanchard of Four Horsemen fame (probably).
