In Houston, a man died after falling off a moving 18-wheeler. The 25-year-old was dancing on top of the trailer and was reportedly recording himself. The incident occurred at 11:35 AM on November 10, 2022 on the Easter Freeway.
Houston Man Dies After Falling Off 18-Wheeler While Dancing for TikTok Video
According to the Houston PD, the young man climbed onto the trailer truck at some point while it was heading south on Eastex. Their release also notes that the man was apparently dancing and “possibly recording himself.” The man was killed after the truck passed under the Tuam Street Bridge.
The Houston PD determined that the truck driver wasn’t aware that the man had jumped onto the trailer. After the man fell off the truck, he was rushed to Memorial Herman Hospital-Texas Medical Center for treatment.
He was pronounced dead and an examination found the cause to be blunt force trauma. The Houston PD’s investigation into the young man’s death is currently ongoing.
