Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton is “hell-bent” on clapping back at Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Netflix docuseries via a televised interview, an insider exclusively shares with In Touch.
The insider told the outlet that “Kate’s ammunition could potentially destroy Meghan, has a stack of receipts, which she accumulated over the years.” Her husband, Prince William, as however, “warned” her to “think twice” before she gives the “green light” to a potential interview.

The source continues to say that Prince William and Kate are “livid” about Harry and Meghan “nit-picking” the royal family in their Netflix series, Harry & Meghan. On Thursday, December 8, 2022 Volume 1 of their tell-all premiered, and the second volume will release on Thursday, December 15.
The insider notes that “The docuseries is the final nail in the coffin for Harry and Meghan’s relationship with the royals,” and that Kate has been “inundated” with interview offers. The Duke and Duchess shared a lot about the royal family including, The Prince and Princess of Wales in the docuseries. One scene showed Meghan recalling the first time she met the couple.
“I was a hugger. I’ve always been a hugger. I didn’t realize that is really jarring for a lot of Brits,” Meghan shared. “I guess I started to understand very quickly that the formality on the outside carried through on the inside, that there is a forward-facing way of being, and then you close the door and you go, ‘Oh, alright, OK, I can relax now,’ but that formality carries over on both sides, and that was surprising to me.”
Prince Harry and Meghan also shared negative claims against the royal family. Suits alum, Meghan explained that the royals’ “biggest problem” with her was her acting career. She said, “There’s a big idea of what that looks like, from the U.K. standpoint, Hollywood, and it’s just very easy for them to typecast that.” Harry said his family were “incredibly impressed” when they first met his now-wife, but let him know that they doubted their relationship would become serious.
The prince said, “Some of them didn’t quite know what to do with themselves. So, I think they were surprised, maybe surprised that the ginger could land such a beautiful woman and such an intelligent woman. But the fact that I was dating an American actress was probably what clouded their judgment more than anything else at the beginning: ‘Oh, she’s an American actress. This won’t last.”
