Tetsuya Naito & SANADA are on the cusp of a victory in World Tag League, but need to face down the daunting duo of Minoru Suzuki & AEW’s Lance Archer. Already eliminated from the chance to make the finals and looking to prove that Suzuki-gun is never to be overlooked – especially as Suzuki has been hyping a major game changing announcement for the faction on December 14th.
Suzuki-gun Isolate Tetsuya Naito
Suzuki-gun would kick this match off with a brawl, as Archer pulled SANADA into the crowd and found some time to make some fans cry. He’d drag SANADA back to the ring, whipping him to the corner before taking a set of dropkicks. Naito hit the ring for the Wishbone leg snap, before sandwiching Archer with dropkicks.
Archer found his footing and nearly sent Naito out of the ring with a pounce. He’d yank Naito out and take them back to the fans he scared earlier, giving them a front row view as he smacked Naito with a steel chair. At ringside, SANADA was being choked out by Suzuki, before being thrown into the barricade.
We’d almost get a double countout, before Naito was rolled back into the ring. Suzuki would keep the pressure on with some stiff stomps, before trying to force the pinfall. Naito would have his hand bent in an unnatural manner, before being put into the corner for some punishing strikes from Archer and a bodyslam.
Naito would avoid a body splash from Archer, only to be forced back into the Suzuki-gun corner for some chops and a kneebar from Suzuki. Archer would throw Naito across the ring, and mocked him for being unable to make the tag to SANADA. Naito would be fired up by the crowd, hitting the ropes and coming back with a basement dropkick before sending Archer & Suzuki to the floor.
SANADA Makes The Save, Allows Naito To Put Down Suzuki
SANADA was reaching out for the tag, but Archer yanked him off the apron. Naito made the corner and SANADA sprung to the apron for the tag. He’d avoid the big boot and hit another dropkick to the knee. Archer would be able to fight off the attempt at the Paradise Lock, before taking the fight to the floor and being tripped into the barricade.
Suzuki would get the tag, hitting a snapmare to set up a PK – only for SANADA to catch the kick. SANADA would hit a set of basement dropkicks, before Naito tagged back into the match. Swinging dropkick in the corner would follow, before Naito tried to set up a Avalanche Hurricanrana and was blocked into a kneebar.
A body splash from Archer led to Naito being rolled into the middle of the ring, where Suzuki hit a PK for a two count. Naito would be lifted up for a Hart Attack by Archer, with Suzuki finishing the move with a big boot before applying a kneebar in the middle of the ring. SANADA tried to make the save, but Archer held him back.
By the time SANADA made the save, the damage might have already been done. SANADA would take out Archer with the Springboard dropkick, before a backdrop to Suzuki, allowing Naito to rush into a potential pinfall. The assisted DDT would land, before Destino for the finish.
