Joe Rogan’s Off-Camera Reaction To Paddy Pimblett’s Unjustified UFC 282 Decision Win – Says All About Fight’s Wrong Result

Joe Rogan's Off-Camera Reaction To Paddy Pimblett's Unjustified UFC 282 Decision Win - Says All About Fight's Wrong Result

The famous UFC commentator Joe Rogan was caught on a fan phone camera reacting to the decision win of Paddy Pimblett at UFC 282. Like most of the UFC fans and most of the audience at the event, he made it clear that he doesn’t agree with the judges’ scorecards.

Paddy Pimblett marked his fourth UFC win at the UFC 282 event and sparked controversy on the event. He managed to score a decision win over Jared Gordon. However, the majority of UFC fans think that this is a win that he didn’t deserve.

Joe Rogan Made Off-Camera Reaction To Paddy Pimblett’s Decision Win And It Tells All About The Fight

It is no secret that Paddy Pimblett is gaining much traction in the UFC world. People happened to like his unconventional fighting style and his interesting press conferences. However, most of all, people took interest in him due to the marvelous weight gains he does after his fights.

Dana White sees big potential in the Liverpudlian. That’s why he gave him this huge opportunity to star as the co-main event on the pay-per-view fight card. However, after the event’s end, one cannot be sure that the outcome fulfills his expectations.

Joe Rogan’s behind-camera reaction to Paddy’s win speaks a lot about the judges’ decision. Judging by his face in the video, he sure thinks that the decision is ‘unusual’ to say the least. Furthermore, the eye roll that he did after hearing Paddy’s name surely suggests that he doesn’t approve of the decision.

Throughout the first round, there were some close exchanges between the fighters. However, the highlights of the round are Gordon’s takedowns on Paddy Pimblett. There were some significant strikes exchanged between the two. However, everyone that watched the fight can agree that the first round should’ve been judged in Jared Gordon’s favor.

Paddy Pimblett came stronger in the second round. At one point he even almost caught his opponent in a rear naked choke. However, the points acquired in this round shouldn’t have given him ease of mind to just coast in the third round.

The third round was a disaster for Paddy Pimblett. While Jared Gordon held him against the cage for most of the time and controlled the action, Paddy was unable to do anything. Even Paddy Pimblett himself confessed that he took the third round to ‘rest’ as he thought that he won the first two.

As the bell marked the end of the final round, both fighters seemed satisfied with the outcome of the fight. They raised their hands and waited for the final decision. However, Jared Gordon left the octagon disappointed.

While the speaker announced the winner, a fan’s phone camera caught Joe Rogan in the back rolling his eyes in disbelief and shock.

Joe Rogan came to Paddy for the post-fight interview and remarked that this was ‘a close fight’. A comment that upset Paddy Pimblett very much.

“People just don’t like me lad, do you know what I mean? People just want to score a fight against me. I’m a nice guy while everyone hates me.” – Paddy Pimblett told. “I’m pretty p***ed off, to be honest. Joe Rogan came in and said ‘that was a close fight’ I was like ‘what are you on about lad?’ It wasn’t a split decision, it was a unanimous decision. So it’s pretty upsetting that people think I didn’t win the fight, it’s annoying me. It’s annoying me a lot.”
