One of the fun parts of sports and entertainment is fans comparing the different eras about who is better and who would win dream matchups.
One of the latest ones to come up is comparing The Bloodline with the nWo curtesy of Corey Graves. Granted, he works for the WWE and his opinions may be slanted their way.
Corey Graves Thinks The Bloodline is More Compelling than the nWo
On a recent episode of After the Bell Podcast, Graves dove into what makes the Bloodline special, and he went so far as to say the Bloodline is more compelling than arguably the greatest faction in history — the nWo.

While Graves’ comments will undoubtedly rub some fans the wrong way, he did keep it balanced by saying how he things the Bloodline will endure the test of history, second to the nWo.
“These guys are going to run this place for the foreseeable future. There are so many exciting ways that this could go, and I dare say this is a more compelling situation than the nWo because of the reality behind it. When I say they are as deep as they are dangerous, I mean it with every fiber of my being. I gush about these guys constantly, they’re my favorites on screen, but they’re also a lot of my favorites off screen. I truly believe everything that they do. But for my money right now, The Bloodline is well on its way to being as hot of an act that endures the test of time in this business second maybe only to the nWo.”
While he makes some interesting points, we like how he pointed out how the Bloodline are a family and that type of thing can’t be faked in front of an audience.
But the nWo did have a family dynamic, especially with Scott Hall and Kevin Nash. They were like brothers, and the way they were introduced blurred the line between reality and what was happening in the ring.
It was some of the best storytelling in the history of wrestling and they grew so big and powerful it damaged the WCW brand and the company never made a recovery.
The Bloodline has been fun, but they were losing steam and growing stale after being uber predictable, but they were invigorated by Sami Zayn’s genius in promos and his ability to get fans to buy in.
Still, there’s plenty of reason to like The Bloodline and they could make their fair share of history, but given the lack of stars facing them, it’s hard to buy into anyone beating them and that’s not compelling.
