‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to get the week started on the right foot and we have plenty of spoilery goodies to share.
It’s also Christmas week, and the various celebrations will be mixed in the normal storylines and we’ll be starting off with most of the Newmans setting the stage for the week and holiday. Let’s get into in!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, December 19: Victor’s deep appreciation
To kick off the week’s Christmas festivities, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) are going to have a tender moment where they’re relaxing and enjoying each other’s company.
It’ll be a nice change without any manipulation or rivals to plot against and they’ll lose themselves in the Christmas season as they talk about the meaning of Christmas.
We think they’ll both cite family and the time the holiday allows them to spend together as their meaning of Christmas.
It’ll be a nice moment, but ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers also expect this to be the perfect time for Victor to either take a shot at or lament Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) being his own person.
We hope it doesn’t ruin the moment, but Nikki better be fast to reign him in.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, December 19: Finding a reason
Speaking of Nick, he’s going to happen to cross paths with the reason for his parent’s displeasure, and he and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will chat about their holiday plans.
We don’t think it’ll be anything grandiose, but we’re sure both families will come up and Nick will want to spare her from Victor and Nikki’s grilling and accusations.
There is a chance he’ll be curious to meet her family, and despite her warnings it’ll happen.
Or maybe they’ll go back to LA to relax in the sunshine a little bit, and it’ll give Nick a chance to ask around to prove his parents wrong, and Sally could even help him do so.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, December 19: Adam’s gift
Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) is going to get a fun surprise when Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) arrives with a special invitation.
We’re curious what this will be, and it makes sense it’d be to dinner with his family, but that could be a stretch.
More likely, he has something special planned since he is basically competing with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) for her affections without Chelsea or Billy knowing there’s a competition.
So we expect it to be a play she always wanted to see or a quiet sleigh ride or something along those lines.
