Coffeezilla, a self-proclaimed YouTube journalist recently accused Logan Paul of scamming people through his CryptoZoo project. Logan Paul founded the Cryptozoo project as a cryptocurrency-based platform that has aim to provide a marketplace for buying and selling digital currencies.
The Cryptozoo project includes rare and unique ‘crypto creatures’ that users can buy and sell using the platform’s cryptocurrency ZOO. Logan Paul’s project also includes a ‘battle royale’ game. Using it, people can ‘fight’ and trade their cryptocurrencies.
Logan Paul Will File A Lawsuit Against Coffeezilla For Scam Accusations
Coffezilla released a three-part video on his Youtube channel, looking into Logan Paul’s CryptoZoo. According to the Youtuber, firstly, Logan Paul’s ‘game’ still doesn’t exist and with that scams people in investing in something that is still just an imagination. Furthermore, the early promoters and investors of the project lost massive money in the process of supporting the game.
Logan Paul still advertises the project as a “really fun game that earns you money”. According to the game’s official website, the game is still “undergoing upgrades to the core infrastructure of the ecosystem”.
Coffeezilla advertises himself as a personality who “uncovers scams, fraudsters, and fake gurus that are preying on desperate people with deceptive advertising”. In the video, he ‘reveals’ Logan Paul’s scam and urges people not to invest in the ‘scam operation’.
According to Coffezilla, Logan Paul’s play-to-earn game has never been playable. The development of the project is still in the first stage. However, despite this fact, Logan Paul has spent more than $2.5 million on in-game artifacts.
Logan Paul didn’t hesitate to respond to the fellow YouTuber and hit back. He released a new 8-minute Youtube video, where he threatens to file a lawsuit against Coffeezilla.
“You have used my name for views and money.” – Logan Paul said in the Youtube clip. “Your addiction to clicks has clouded your judgment and you’ve made very real errors with very real repercussions. Coffeezilla has continued to morph from an investigator to a gossip channel. He is a lopsided journalist with an agenda.”
Logan Paul pushed even further and threatened to sue Coffezilla for misinformation and sharing illegally acquired information. Allegedly, the Youtuber recorded one of Logan Paul’s phone conversations with the lead developer of the game, Zack Kelling. He used the recording in his video, putting it out out context, so it appears that the game is a scam.
“I suggest you use the money from your Patreon to hire a good lawyer, you’re gonna need it.” – Logan Paul rounded up the YouTube video. “See you in court.”
