Florida Man Arrested After Deputies Report to a Stabbing Death and Find Bloody Knife In His Possession
Emergency services arrived and pronounced the victim dead, making this a murder investigation. At 3:30 AM, the deputies received a call about the stabbing and tracked the caller to a gas station across from the motel. The individual—Alvin Jones (30)—was found with a knife on his person.
It was found that the knife was the one used in the murder and Jones was arrested. From what the Clay County Sheriff’s Office gathered, Jones went across the street after stabbing the victim and told the gas station clerk what occurred.
Since there is the question of why the suspect was stabbed and why Jones called in the murder, this one is likely still under investigation. Alvin Jones was charged with second-degree murder
