Winning a Royal Rumble is one of the biggest accomplishments anyone can have as part of the WWE roster. It puts you in a major match at WrestleMania, and can literally change a career – especially if you’re just starting out as part of the roster of WWE NXT. For the past few years, it’s become commonplace to see the best of the best from NXT show up in the Royal Rumble – and four names from the women’s division are set to appear tonight.
Four Top Names From WWE NXT Confirmed To Be Backstage At Royal Rumble
First reported by PWInsider, four of the top names in the NXT Women’s division are set to be in the Royal Rumble tonight. These names are Indi Hartwell, Ivy Nile, Zoey Stark and current NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez.
Indi Hartwell is well overdue for a call up from the NXT brand, being a former member of The Way, which also included Johnny Gargano, Candice LeRae, Austin Theory, and her storyline husband – Dexter Lumis. She was defeated by the returning Tiffany Stratton on the latest episode of WWE NXT.
Ivy Nile is a member of The Diamond Mine faction, moving into the coach role since Roderick Strong was written off TV in 2022. She’s a hot prospect for the company, showing clear skill in the ring and constant improvements.
Zoey Stark is a former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion, having won the belts alongside Iyo Sky. She was feuding with Nikkita Lyons, who recently suffered an ACL tear – freeing her up for a call up.
Finally, Roxanne Perez is the reigning NXT Women’s Champion. She won the belt from Mandy Rose following NXT Deadline, and at just 21 years old is one of the youngest champions in WWE history. She’s considered a prodigy of the industry, and already making her Royal Rumble debut would be another big accomplishment.
Four Possible Male NXT Entrants
There are no currently confirmed names from the men’s NXT roster at the event. Cameron Grimes has been absent from TV for a while, making him a potential name to appear. Current NXT Champion Bron Breakker would also make sense, alongside his next challenger of Grayson Waller – both of whom having shown up on Monday Night RAW in 2022.
Roderick Strong is another potential call up, as previously noted he was written off TV in 2022 – and despite calling for his release, that has not been granted. Strong is an indy legend and former member of The Undisputed Era.
