Controversy was running riot after ITV removed a video of a contentious interview with the ex-partner of Prince Andrew, Lady Victoria, after she made a defamatory strike against his accuser of sexual misconduct, Virgina Guiffre.
ITV Removes Prince Andrew’s Former Lover Lady Victoria’s Interview After She Called Virgina Guiffre A ‘Con Artist’
Lady Victoria, who had been in a relationship with Andrew in 1999, caused indignation when she suggested that Virginia was a fraud and falsifier.
Giuffre has alleged that she was compelled to engage in sexual relations with the Duke of York as commanded by Jeffrey Epstein, who was a pedophile, and Ghislaine Maxwell, who was found guilty of sex trafficking.
While that may have been the case, Andrew denied doing anything of the sort. That is why Lady Victoria branded her as a ‘con artist,’ but the interview has since then been removed from the show’s online platform.
In response, the presenter of Good Morning Britain Susana Reid said the following: “I’m going to bring the interview to an end because you cannot smear victims of sex trafficking who have already been through hell.”
The decision to dismiss the interview does not look good for Andrew’s supporters in light of the following. It has been alleged that the photograph of Prince Andrew with his arm around the 17-year-old Virginia was real.
Acume Forensic, a prominent digital forensics company, conducted an examination and determined that the image was not manipulated in any way.
Stephen Cole, the company’s technical director, confirmed as much: “After our preliminary assessment of the image, we believe that this is a genuine digital photograph of an original film photograph.”
The fans on social media were outraged by Lady Victoria’s conduct. And in the process of doing so, the comments towards her were very condemnatory.
One person wrote: “I watched this live and she was extremely rude, speaking over people and aggressive . At the end of the day she doesn’t know the full story. Claiming that the woman in prison is innocent as well.”
