Prince Harry has been cautioned against being remembered for just attacking the Royal Family.
Prince Harry Warned To Move On From Attacking The Firm-‘You’re Going To Be A One-Trick Pony,’ Says Nicholas Owen
It is fair to say that the Duke of Sussex has been very vocal against his family since his exit from the firm in 2020. This was most recently seen through the release of his memoir, Spare.
During the course of that process, he accused his brother, Prince William, of assaulting him, as the Duke fell over a dog bowl. This was in addition to the Prince of Wales allegedly shouting and screaming at him during a meeting over Megxit.
But the biggest attack directed against the institution was that the royals had allegedly been leaking stories about Harry and Meghan. But for all his grievances, Harry has been advised to move ahead to the future to avoid coming across as bitter.
Nicholas Owen, who happens to be a royal expert, had this to say: “It’s all very well spilling out all that stuff, how angry you are with your family and how miserable your childhood has been and all that stuff.
“But, you know, if you’re not careful, you’re going to be a one-trick pony. You’ve got to find something else to tell the world, some other way to make money.”
Those comments do hold weight, as the Sussexes’ popularity has declined massively since the release of the memoir. A poll amongst 2,000 US citizens showed that 31 percent of people had a positive view of Harry, while 38 percent had a negative view.
Much in the same way, 26 percent of Americans favoured Meghan, while 39 percent didn’t. This demonstrates that the Sussexes must rebrand moving forward.
But how they go about doing that is anyone’s guess. Time will tell how they move forward, as it is clear that something has to change.
So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
