Prince Andrew has been branded as the ‘most disliked’ member of the Royal Family.
Prince Andrew Labelled The ‘Most Disliked’ Member Of The Royal Family
This should not come as a surprise when we look at the Duke of York’s personal life. He was infamously accused of sexually assaulting Virginia Guiffre.
While that may have been the case, he denied doing anything of the sort, even though he agreed to an out-of-court settlement to dismiss the case.
In addition, his links with Jeffrey Epstein have not helped. He was pictured with Epstein walking in Central Park, New York, as questions emerged over why he would be in his company, since Epstein was convicted of sex offences.
With that being said, Andrew’s standing has fallen. A source confirmed the following: “[He is] the longest man in lockdown. [He] has become the Millwall of the Royal Family.”
Nevertheless, Andrew may be seeking to change all that due to the following. First of all, reports have emerged stating that he may be seeking to issue a legal challenge against Guiffre in order to set his side of the narrative straight.
Secondly, there are also suggestions that Andrew could come out with his own memoir. Regardless of what he decides, the polls have shown that Andrew is not popular.
One poll at the beginning of this year showed that 60 percent of people viewed Andrew negatively. Only Prince Harry and Meghan Markle fared worse, which may have been due to the latter’s memoir, Spare.
The response on social media was equally damning. Large numbers of people wanted to see the Duke of York being held accountable. One person wrote: “They need to send Prince Andrew to America to face trial.”
Andrew’s reputation has suffered terribly, and there is no getting away from that at all. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
