According to royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams, Pince Harry and Meghan Markle will face criticism regardless of whether they attend King Charles III’s Coronation.

Those comments were in relation to reports that the Sussexes have been told to leave Frogmore Cottage, which was given to them following their wedding by Queen Elizabeth II.
It is alleged that Prince Andrew could be given the keys. While that may be the case, the couple will not risk being absent from King Charles’ coronation as it would make them seem unimportant.
This is despite the fact that they have yet to confirm whether or not they will actually attend the ceremony that will take place on Saturday, 6th May 2023. In his comments, Richard said: “So the dilemma is theirs.
“They won’t be missed if they don’t come by much of the British public. However if they don’t they risk appearing an irrelevance and polls in America have shown a seismic drop in their support.”
In recent months, Harry and his wife Meghan have made a series of remarkable criticisms against the Royal Family. The Sussexes, though, have acknowledged that they had received an email confirming that they have been invited to the Coronation.
Therefore, the ball is firmly in their court. And this was reflected in the comments that followed on social media.
A certain subset of people made it clear that the couple had to change their approach by being more relatable since they were not as important as they were in comparison to when they were in the firm.
One person wrote: “In a lot of people’s opinions they are already irrelevant,anyway no apologies needed from any royal family member.”
While another person stated: “They’re irrelevant if they attend and irrelevant if they don’t. It makes no difference, they are irrelevant no matter what.”
