The relationship between Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and the Royal Family is improving as they have recently announced their decision to bestow the titles of prince and princess upon their children.
Harry And Meghan’s Relationship With The Firm Has Changed-‘The Lines Of Communication Are Improving’
On Wednesday, 8th March 2023, the couple declared that their 21-month-old daughter, Lilibet, who was named after the deceased Queen Elizabeth II, had been christened.
And as a result, they have resolved to grant their children the official royal designations. For the first time, the couple has used the titles of “prince” or “princess”, which puts an end to the ongoing discussion.
On the day of the Coronation, their son, who will be four years old, will be called Prince Archie Harrison. And according to one royal expert, the recent action may indicate a fresh phase of the monarchy’s connections with others.
This development has sparked optimism that the Sussexes may agree to attend King Charles III’s Coronation. Royal expert Afua Hagan had this to say: “The lines of communication are improving.
“There has been a defrosting of royal relations – from both sides.” The expert stated that in her opinion the couple’s act of giving their children titles indicate that they plan to attend the Coronation.
While Harry and Meghan have confirmed receiving an invitation, they have not disclosed whether they will be attending. Nevertheless, their effort to strengthen their connection with the Royal Family suggests their desire to improve relations, particularly for their kids.
Hagan’s following comments confirmed as much: “It is a good indication that they will attend the Coronation and indicates where their head is at. They still want to have ties to the Royal Family.”
Time will tell if the Sussexes do end up attending the Coronation, but based on what we have seen so far, things are not looking good.
