It’s time to crown a new World Heavyweight Champion in WWE – with Triple H recently unveiled a beautiful new belt following the 2023 WWE Draft.
With Roman Reigns on Smackdown Live, this belt will be the top prize of Monday Night RAW. After a brief but exciting tournament, Seth Rollins & AJ Styles will meet in the finals. Both men have won major championships in WWE before, and are ready to give their all for the fans in Saudi Arabia.
Seth Rollins & AJ Styles Battle In Jeddah To Make History
Rollins would get the crowd behind him as the match began, leading them like an orchestra. Styles would have no time for these games, sending Rollins to the floor with a dropkick – before setting up a dive.
Rollins rolled back into the ring to prevent this, but Styles landed clean on the apron. Styles would be dropped with the Slingblade, but managed to avoid a Curb Stomp – but took the Black Magic kick to the back of the head.
Rollins would be driven spine first into the corner, before Styles hit some quick strikes – ending with a jumping knee drop as Rollins was put on the mat. Styles would be caught in the corner with a flatliner, before being launched face first into the middle turnbuckle on other side of the ring. Rollins would try for a superplex, but Styles countered by introducing the face of Rollins to the top turnbuckle.
Styles & Rollins would trade strikes in the middle of the ring, with the Phenomenal Combo dropping Rollins for the sliding forearm smash. Lifting facebuster would follow – getting Styles a near fall. Stylin’ DDT out of the corner got the same result – with Rollins staying in the fight. A sunset flip would set up Styles for a Buckle Bomb, before a Five Star Frog Splash from Rollins for a two count.
Ushigoroshi would follow from Styles, with the neck being something Rollins has previously had injured. Trying to reclaim the advantage, Rollins attempted a Pedigree, but was countered and hit with a Pele Kick. Rollins would narrowly avoid a second rope Styles Clash with a Frankensteiner, before hitting a Reverse Superplex into a Reverse Bloody Sunday for the two count.
Rollins Digs Deep To Stomp Out The Hope Of Styles
Styles would look to regain his footing, but Rollins stomped him into place before trying for the Phoenix Splash. Rollins would miss and roll to his feet, before blocking a Tornado DDT.
Battling for control of a suplex on the apron, Rollins would be spiked with a brainbuster – and was drug back into the ring. Styles would size his opponent up, ready for the killshot that is the Phenomenal Forearm – but Rollins was able to counter by shoving the ropes.
Rollins would keep the pressure on with a suicide dive to the floor, with his right knee buckling. Styles would be quick to take advantage, applying the Calf Crusher in the ring. Rollins would be unable to get the ropes, and needed to force his way free before hitting some Kawada Kicks to the face of Styles.
Rollins avoided a Pele Kick and hit a superkick, before a stomp to the hand. Pedigree would be blocked, with Styles hitting one of his own for a near fall.
Phenomenal Forearm would be stopped with a superkick, but Rollins knee would buckle again as he looked for the stomp. Styles would try for the Calf Crusher again, but Rollins rolled into a Pedigree before The Stomp for the victory!
