‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re all set to keep things moving with some fun spoilery goodies to go around.
This looks like it’s going to be a fun episode as some plans will continued marching along and others will be tweaked slightly to fit the changing emotions.
We’ve got the popcorn, so let’s dig into some spoilers!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, July 20: Making it count
In a curious twist many expected, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will shift gears from vengeance to romance after she and Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) make sure everything’s in place.
That means making sure Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) knows her role and follows through with pushing Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) over the edge, but we’re sure Phyllis will mess that up royally like she does any scheme she’s involved in.
With nothing else to worry about, they’ll turn their attention to their wedding and “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers thinks there’s been a slight change in plans.
Ashley’s been showing a little more emotion toward Tucker since he’s been her knight in shining armor, and we think she’s going to want to make sure their wedding is done right.
This means that she’s fallen for him again and will want to do everything right this time.
Of course, if Tucker is really after Jabot as was claimed since the beginning, she’ll be heading for major heartbreak and she’ll blame Diane for it despite it being her own hate that will lead her to it.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, July 20: Phyllis pushes Cricket
Since we mentioned Phyllis, let’s take a look at her trying to avoid facing justice for what she did.
It looks like she and Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) are going to get into a sparing match over Phyllis getting released thanks to her miracle witness that’s way too perfect.
Phyllis will play the victim and claim she was brainwashed and all that so she can walk away free and clear, and Cricket won’t believe a word of it.
But she’ll be happy to let the facts and evidence speak for themselves and put Phyllis away for as long as the law says.
Of course, any claim of her innocence will fly out the window if anyone gets wind of her deal with Tucker, so she’d better hope she doesn’t disappoint him enough to make her witness disappear.
While that’s a possibility, we think her real problem will be herself as she’ll start chaffing under Tucker’s constant threats and begin working to overthrow him.
The truth has a way of coming out, and it’d be nice if they’d stop finding ways to draw out this storyline.
How long until Phyllis causes her own downfall again? Let us know in the comments below and check back with “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation.
